As I wait before the Lord I have been hearing the Holy Spirit speak the words “advance” and “alignment”. I believe that in this hour and season while we are tucked away in our houses because of the Covid-19 virus, it may seem as though we are in retreat but the opposite is actually the truth. God is advancing His Kingdom in a great way. I see the body of Christ coming into alignment with the heart and the plans of our Father in this season and as that happens we will see the evidence of it in the earth, in our families, communities, churches, and even the nations.

It's been interesting to see many posts online about changes occurring in nature all around us. Here in Cape Town we have heard of sightings of abundance of sea life in areas where they usually don’t come. Many Orca whales have been seen in the area, many more than usual. We saw a video of a whale swimming and playing in a boat marina nearby. The most amazing thing, though is the abundance of fish in many places. We’ve heard of several incidences of massive catches of fish in areas far and wide. We saw a video of an instance of this in a town in South America that had been hit very hard by the virus. In the video it showed a massive catch of fish filling many, many huge containers. The town’s people were lined up carrying buckets to collect fish in order to feed their hungry families. It was amazing.

I was reminded of an incident my sister, husband and I witnessed on March 3rd of this year, just before we went into lockdown. My sister was here in SA visiting and we were showing her the sights in Cape Town area. One day we were driving by the sea and we noticed a huge crowd of people on the beach. We stopped to see what was going on and found that a large net had washed up on shore and it was full of sea life. There was a shark caught in the net and we watched as two men dragged it back into the water and released it. There were so many stingray that we had to watch where we stepped. The coolest thing was the abundance of fish. People were filling containers or even just their arms with as many fish as they could carry to take home to feed their families.

As I prayed about the significance of all of this, I felt the Lord speak to me about the great Spiritual harvest that is coming in the earth. The sea symbolically speaks of humanity and I believe we are seeing in the physical realm what God is about to do in the Spiritual realm. A mighty harvest is coming all around the world. As I prayed over all this I was reminded of the two different times in scripture when Jesus provided for great catches of fish. The first was early on in His ministry when he told Peter to put out into the water again and lower his nets. When Peter did, he caught so many fish that his net began to break and the fish filled two boats so full that they began to sink. (Luke 5) Again, at the very end of Jesus’ ministry, Peter was having no success with his fishing until Jesus appeared on the scene and told him to cast his net on the right side of the boat. Again, when they did, Peter and the other disciples brought in a huge haul of fish. (John 21) I believe that these two incidences are a prophetic picture of the great harvests that were going to come to the earth. We read of the first in the book of Acts when the early church was birthed, and spread all around the known world, a great harvest in many nations. Throughout history, we hear of other great revivals that brought souls into the Kingdom all around the world. I believe we are on the threshold of the next great harvest that will encompass the earth and it will far exceed anything we have ever seen before.

Romans 8:19 says, “For even the whole creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].” I think it’s quite amazing that as the people of God are hidden away in their homes and coming into alignment with the heart of God that they are actually revealing their sonship and nature is responding. It’s just Jesus in us shining forth. We are familiar with the scripture in 2 Chronicles 7:14 where it tells us, “…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Whenever the people of God come into right alignment, nature (the land) always responds. I expect that in the coming months we will also be hearing of bumper crop harvests and plentiful fruit in different areas around the world.

People of God, it is time to Advance His Kingdom! As you are in your homes, shut in you prayer closets, come into alignment with His heart. Seek His face and His Kingdom in this season, and watch and see the great harvest He will bring.

Note: As Dan prayed, he also heard the Lord speaking concerning these things.

The Father said, “I am allowing fish and other sea animals to come back to places they haven’t been in a long time. Land animals are moving back in, even into towns where they haven’t been in years. I want to show in the physical what I want to do in the spiritual. There needs to be a return to me. A harvest and a repentance. I am calling the fish and animals back and I am also calling my people back.”

Word of Encouragement - January 2021

Recently a friend of mine in Zimbabwe forwarded the contents of a dream she had received from another lady in order for me to pray over it and relate any insight into the understanding of this dream.
