Our God is so good. Even in the midst of such trouble and confusion in the world around us we boldly and emphatically declare, "Our God is good!!" He is faithful and He never changes. Our trust and hope is in Him, always! This is Theresa writing from Bend, Oregon.

The lock-down situation in South Africa changed very slowly over recent months since last we wrote and has caused so much heart-ache, hunger and desperation for people all over this country. The situation in Zimbabwe was even more desperate because they were already seriously hurting even before the pandemic hit. So in May, VFA launched a feeding program to feed hungry people in South Africa and Zimbabwe. We began by making request to supporting churches in the US and we were overwhelmingly amazed at the positive response. VFA received close to $10,000 to feed hungry people. So in the following months even up to the present, we have been able to provide funds needed to trusted pastors, churches and organizations in the Cape Town region in South Africa and also in the Gweru region in Zimbabwe. These funds were used exclusively to buy food for hungry families. Thousands of hungry people were provided for in those areas and the testimonies have been touching coming from so many who were totally without food and wondering where their next meal would come from. It has been a very humbling, yet honoring role to fill during a time when we were unable to go to those places ourselves. Many thanks to those who have contributed, especially to those at Restoration Park Church in Medway Ohio, Upper-Room Fellowship in Columbiana Ohio and to those who gave as a memorial to Wilma Booth.

Zane Landon McArthur - born 7/7/20 Wilma Booth family Memorial

Late in June, Dan and I were able to travel back to the US. The Lord provided for us to fly on a repatriation flight. We arrived in time to welcome our newest grandbaby, Zane Landon McArthur, born on July 7th. What a blessing! He is the precious son of our youngest son, Andrew and his wife Bianca. Then just 5 days later, on July 12th my precious mother, Wilma Booth went home to be with Jesus. We are so thankful that the Lord provided for us to be in the US for both of those events. He is so good.

Flights in and out of South Africa are just now opening up so we are hoping and planning to fly back to Cape Town at the end of October. Please keep us in your prayers. Any contributions for airline tickets would be much appreciated. You can use the donate button at the top of this page or send checks to: VFA Missions, PO Box 24832, Dayton, OH 45424.

Thanks so much and God bless.

Theresa and Dan McArthur

This is a super refreshing read, and I'm definitely adding these insights to our team's knowledge base. The practical applications you discussed really resonated with me; it's often in real-world scenarios that the most valuable lessons about implementing strategies like this are learned. For instance, I recall a project where we initially struggled with adoption until we reframed the approach based on user feedback, much like what you've highlighted here https://www.osko.com.au/ An interesting addition for future discussions, perhaps for a September newsletter if you're planning one, could be a series of expert interviews. Hearing from various professionals on their experiences and adaptations of these concepts would be invaluable. I genuinely believe most people would find this perspective on newsletter strategies…

This September newsletter was an absolute game-changer for me, honestly. I’ve been experimenting with my own content strategies, and seeing the practical applications you laid out really clicked. The personalization aspect you highlighted is particularly powerful; I’d always thought of it as a nice-to-have, but now I see how crucial it is for genuine engagement. It’s given me a whole new appreciation for how much thought can go into crafting something like this https://www.sbs.com.au/news I actually revamped my entire outreach method recently, and the insights here provided the missing pieces I needed. It’s one of those rare guides that immediately earns a spot in my favorites. I’ve already noticed a significant uptick in how people are responding to my communications,…
