Vision For Africa Newsletter March 2019

Our God is so good! This is Theresa McArthur writing from Gordon's Bay, South Africa.

Dan and I have been feeling the Lord's prompting to begin training teams to join us doing evangelistic outreaches. The first of these outreaches happened in November last year and we are excited to report that God did amazing things. We took a team of 8 people from the Cape Town region and traveled to the Western Cape where we were joined by a team from that area. We did outreach in a small village called Redelinghuys on a very hot Saturday, walking the streets and reaching out to those the Holy Spirit directed us to. We saw many people healed and touched by the love of God and then surrender their lives to Jesus. We are looking forward to more of these types of outreaches in the future.

Soon after the West Coast outreach, Dan and I went to the US for furlough. We arrived the day before Thanksgiving and were able to spend time with family through the holidays. What a blessing! In those few short weeks we helped to and/or settle 3 of our children and their families into new homes. We also were able to help move Dan's mom from her small apartment in an assisted living complex to a full care facility. Her declining health required her to have more care. Thanks to all of you who have been praying for her health. She is in hospice care presently but is holding her own.

In January and February we traveled a lot visiting churches, sharing and ministering. It was good to connect with churches and long time friends. Also in January we made a short term mission trip to Mexico to spend time with missionaries who are part of Freedom Ministries during their campaigns. It was awesome to see all God is doing there. God moved so powerfully and in ways that were new and exciting to us. We learned a lot and made many new friends.
